Capy Talism
About the game:
Capytalism is a sliding puzzle game, centering on the story of a hungry Capybara heading to the market to buy food. Upon arriving at the grocery isle, it is presented with two options, conventional and local produce. Help the capybara get the different fruits and veggies, by sliding the baskets under them in order to collect. Each type of produce, local or conventional can be collected with its respective baskets: hay and plastic. Clear only one type of produce in each level and observe how the environment around you changes bit by bit once the level is completed.
Will you choose local or conventional?

About the project:
The game was developed as the group assignment for the Leaning Game Development course (IFI7378.DT 2026K) in Tallinn University's Digital Learning Games program. The main criteria was to make a simple serious game. Our serious goal was to raise awareness of local produce and how small every day choices may impact the bigger events in ones surroundings.
